My wife and I have bought and sold many houses during the course of our 22 years of marriage, giving us the experience of working with all kinds of realtors. Without a doubt, Bonnie Bevins is the best we have ever met. Let me count the ways. Not only is she expert at helping you understand and navigate the forest of financial and legal documents, she also makes you feel confident you are getting the best deal. She is skillful at negotiating with other realtors and knows how to manage any situation that begins to go sideways. Without her last-minute interventions on our behalf, our house purchase in Kent CT would have not gone through. Which is why we asked her to represent us again when it was time to sell another property in Stamford CT. When we did settle on a house, she was a great negotiator and guided us through the process carefully, successfully assisting us through any complications. While looking for a house to buy in CT, it became clear that we needed someone who was real estate informed, supportive and personable. We intentionally looked for an independent female broker to support said gender, and to also receive the benefit of the personal (not corporate) house buying experience. We had been disappointed in corporate real estate representation in the past. Bonnie enthusiastically did her realtor work in showing us comparisons of other sold houses, anticipating every need for the buying transactions, and "going to bat" for us in the negotiations when needed. She particularly impressed me with her natural willingness to bushwack through 5 acres of a property we were considering. What realtor does that?! Bonnie Bevans went above and beyond to help us find the property we were looking for. She devoted herself to searching the market till she found an estate that suited our needs for over four years, we were picky in a highly competitive market time. Bonnie is pleasant and relaxed to work with, and she has deep roots in Northwest Connecticut, so when it was time for the house inspetion she organized the building inspector and septic inspector, and they coordinated to be there in just one day. There were a few amendments to the sale contract, and every time Bonnie responded blistering fast with an updated contract. Bonnie approached every aspect of the sale with enthusiasm and smiles, even when dealing with difficult dynamics/negotiations. We highly recommend Bonnie, and can't say enough good things about our experience working with her, we certianly couldn't have done it without her.

I can't recommend Bonnie enough if you’re looking for a real estate agent in Litchfield County, CT. She knows the area inside and out, has a great handle on property values and explains the whole buying process well. We’ve already worked with Bonnie to close on two properties—a piece of land and a duplex rental—and we plan to work with her more in the future. She takes the time to understand our priorities. While she wasn’t initially on board with us buying land, she even tried to talk us out of it, but once she saw how passionate we were, she jumped on board and became an incredible partner in making it happen. For our investment property search, she’s been learning all about our goals, our buy box, and the key numbers we use for evaluating deals, which has been super helpful. Bonnie is also incredibly responsive. She answers texts and calls quickly—even outside regular hours—and her friendly, approachable attitude made the process much less stressful. She wasn’t able to help us negotiate price much on the land, but she fully supported our lower offer on the rental property and helped us lock in the deal. The rental property came with its own challenges, mainly dealing with a seller’s agent who wasn’t following the book. There were a few points where I was ready to walk away, but Bonnie handled everything like a pro, smoothing things over and resolving the issues so we could move forward. What really sets Bonnie apart is her hands-on approach. She’s not afraid to get her boots muddy walking raw land, navigate spider-web-filled attics, or explore dingy basements. Her extensive network of contractors, bankers, and attorneys was a lifesaver since we didn’t have those connections when we started. Overall, Bonnie has been an amazing partner in our real estate journey. We’re excited to keep working with her, and if you’re looking to buy in Litchfield County, CT, she’s the person you want on your side.

Bonnie was an excellent resource for us. To be honest, I am always skeptical of real estate agents. Bonnie was a good fit for us. She understood that we were not in a hurry to buy, but that we wanted to buy our forever home. Always on the lookout and always listening to our concerns, Bonnie is a force. She really understood what our needs and wants were. Bonnie knows her territory like the back of her hand. She also knows people. Bonnie has a knack of bringing people together and helping things move forward. I’ve worked with many, many real estate agents in the past. There are only two agents I would recommend to anyone. One real estate agent is in the state of Delaware. The other is Bonnie Sue. Bonnie is the top of my list and the only realtor that I would work with again as a buying agent.
